Remember when I asked if anyone would look at a car for me?

Well I found another one.

This one is at Momentum Jaguar that needs a PPI depending on what they say when I talk to them today.If it goes well I’ll be flying down to Houston next in 2 weeks and driving it back up to TN.

That listing is weird. Shows Momentum Jag in the image, Momentum Volvo on the sidebar (no big deal they’re in the same place), but then says “View this 2012 LEXUS IS F 4dr Sdn for sale at Land Rover Birmingham in Irondale, AL ” farther down.

Anyway, could be a fun car, but I’m not sure I could justify spending anywhere near $30k on a car with 100,000 miles...

yeah. Volvo / Jaguar same location..so much so the same physical space was shared by Jaguar vehicles on one side / Land Rover in the middle and Volvo on the other corner.

I the wife and I test drove a RC350 F Sport and thought, I like this luxury but with more fun and more doors. The IS-F fi t the bill and in my price range and these last couple months of my commute have scared me away from a manual . Also, ISFs are not deprecating which is both nice and really annoying .

If the generosity of the internet doesn’t work out for you, a friend of mine had pretty OK luck using one of the mail-order mechanic services for a ppi. I think it was Your Mechanic? They missed some stuff because they were unable to put the car on a lift, but overall the caught enough that he knew not to buy the car. (And then bought the car...)

Right before Christmas. I gave it a test drive, then took the wife a week later after they offered me nearly 10k off of a 52k sticker for a 2017.
